Alan Pearson

Alan Pearson currently owner and Managing Director of World Renowned sports, science and medicine research, consultancy and equipment manufacturing SAQ International.
Alan also is currently a Senior and prominent Politician in Leicestershire.
Australian-English Alan excelled at sport becoming Heavy Weight Boxing Champion in the East Midlands and also later playing representative Rugby both in the UK and Australia representing both state and national sides, ending up playing 9 representative international games.
Alan graduated in Physical Education and went onto further education in Health and Human Service Administration. Alan became one of the youngest Chief Executives of a major health organisation in Western Australia.

Alan completed Strength & Conditioning Speed and Power certificates and also high level coaching certificates in Rugby. On returning to the UK he was appointed the first paid Director of Rugby for Leeds, he then went on to be the National Director of Rugby for Malaysia coaching in the World Cup Qualifiers and preparing the team for the Common Wealth Games 7’s division.
On returning to England Alan launched SAQ International, during this period he became a consultant for Nike and was involved in launching a number of products and Nike Town in Oxford Street London. Over the past 20 years Alan has worked with some of the leading athletes, clubs and national sides in the world including: Arsenal, Bayern Munich, England Rugby, Australian New South Wales Rugby, featured on special sessions with Barcelona, Real Madrid and has had full time contracts with Watford, West Ham, Norwich, Sunderland to mention a few.

Alan has also worked with leading cricket teams such as Essex, Somerset and was successful in winning the European Hockey Cup with Reading Hockey Club. During the period of time Alan has lectured at the London School of Medicine, Clairefontaine French Football Federation and many other conferences and Universities throughout the UK and Europe.
Recently, Alan was the driving force behind a National research on fundamental movement for children physically evaluating over 2,000 children in Leicestershire incorporating 14 schools. The findings from the research are now being used to dramatically change how physical activity and sport are being delivered in schools throughout the region.

The SAQ Programme’s education department has provided a number of industry leading Awards, Diplomas and Certificates throughout the world for tens of thousands students, teachers, coaches and health fitness professionals.
Alan is constantly developing and designing new concepts, programmes, products and specialised equipment to further enhance the programme and ensure that SAQ International and its science, concepts and delivery continue to lead in the world.
